Public Meeting, September 4th 2001
 
One measure of success for a public meeting should certainly be the number of people who attend, and based on that simple criteria, this one's success was resounding! Our thanks to all the park supporters who attended, and our apologies to all those who could not get in to the main room to air their concerns. We underestimated the number of Audubon Institute employees who would show up, assuming as we did that they had been given ample opportunities over the past two years to express their opinions.
