In apparent response to our legal attempt to stop the wrongful demolition of the Heymann Conservatory, we have received a threatening letter from attorney Henry "Tut" Kinney, on behalf of the Audubon Commission.
Heymann Conservatory Demolished
11/14/2001 - Audubon Park
Despite a court hearing scheduled for November 20th, to determine if the city Safety and Permits Department should hold a public hearing before authorizing demolition of this structure, the Heymann Memorial Conservatory was demolished by the Audubon Nature Institute on Wednesday, November 14, 2001. So ends a long history of botanical display in Audubon Park.
